The New Trombone Collective consists of nine trombonists from the same generation. They have all built up successful careers with renowned orchestras and ensembles, like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra de Volharding and Het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble. The NTC is working closely with composers to expand the repertoire for trombone. In this way the collective is able to bring new ideas and new aspects of the trombone into music practice in an innovative and expressive way
